Sofia worked at a theater and creative arts camp for children with learning differences, shadowed a doctor, spent time with friends and family, and took a couple business courses for my minor. At the end of the summer she spent a week in Honduras with A&M's Global Medical Brigades. I learned a lot about healthcare systems in central america and gained invaluable experience by spending time in the community observing doctors and assisting the medical staff. Sofia loved getting to meet the people and getting to teach them about chronic illnesses and mental health. This experience really showed showed her that there is a lot of good we can do to help others that are in desperate need of medical assistance, and she hopes to serve more communities as I progress in my career.

AARON DUTKA

Aaron and his family took a trip to Table Rock Lake in Missouri! Because they don't get many chances to travel together as a family, taking a break from all their summer responsibilities and enjoying nature was a much-needed respite. The trip reminded Aaron that spending time with those he loves can be just as noble a summer pursuit as an academic program.
